Light transmittance is within 18%-82% according to different thicknesses and colors.
Jiefenglong PC sun sheet is highly resistant to shock and can keep stable performance for a long time within a wide range of temperature (-40℃~+120℃). Falling-ball impact test: steel balls of different weights fall freely; choose different failing heights for test, check if samples crack, take the maximum impact of the ball without crack as impact strength of samples. Impact strength=9.8*0.001*H*W (H=falling height mm, W= ball weight KG).
Surface of Jiefenglong sun plate is treated by high technical special anti-UV process, so as to ensure stable resistance of the product to UV. The product is resistant to weather and can keep original optical performance after being used for a long time. It will not age rapidly after exposing to UV, and its color will not turn yellow. According to test data, UV protective layer can prohibit the harmful shortwave UV in sunlight and prevent plastic from aging due to break of its molecular chain; thus, the sun plate is of high quality and can minimize damage of excessive UV to skin. For outdoor use under natural condition, high density UV layer will reduce 5um each year. Without protection of anti-UV layer, PC plate is easy to turn yellow and crisp, and such anti-aging effect can’t be reached even some anti-UV material is added to the raw material.

Multi-layer structure of Jiefenglong plate is advantageous in this aspect. Hollow structure ensures that plate has good thermal insulation and thermal loss is much lower than that of single layer transparent material. Generally, K value is used to indicate thermal loss and means the heat transmission of unit area (m2) and unit time when temperature difference of both sides of transparent material per square meter is 1℃. The unit is W/m2.k. If the plate is installed on glass of roof or window and 20-25mm air layer is kept, better insulation effect can be reached.

Sound insulation of material is mainly determined by its hardness, weight and physical structure. PC plate is advantageous in sound insulation; comparing with glass and Acrylic plate of the same thickness, its sound insulation is better.

Jiefenglong pc sun sheet is excellent in fire retardancy. According to the test by National Quality Supervision and Examination Center of Fire Proof Building Material as per GB8624-1997, it reaches B1 class.
Safe, convenient for transporting; most importantly, it doesn’t crack and can save transporting and installation expenses.
Jiefenglong PC sheet is resistant to various organic acid, inorganic acid, plant oil, neutral salt solution, fatty hydrocarbon and absolute alcohol at room temperature, but it is soluble in chloralkane, partially soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons and copper, can be damaged by alkali and will swell in tianna water and carbinol. Besides, the adhesive tape used together with plates should be made of chloroprene rubber, EPT or EPDM at about A65 Shore hardness. Neutral silicone structural gasket cement is recommended as glass cement.
